Moment 1:

Audrey didn’t have just any request for her 9th birthday. She wanted to host her birthday party at the Family House, serving dinner to our families just like her family was served when they stayed at the Hospitality House of Charlotte.

Moment 2:

Give a big Happy Birthday to Kim! She celebrated by bringing her family to serve dinner at the house!

Moment 3:

When Ben first received his cancer diagnosis a few years ago, he thought ‘why should I fight this?’
Soon enough, the Family House taught Ben to not give up. To not give in. There’s always hope.

This holiday season, Ben, a professional florist, wanted to give back to the house that gave him hope in the best way he knew how – by decorating the Family House for Christmas.
We think it turned out beautiful, don’t you?

Going home after 49 nights! Congratulations!

Give it up for our volunteers of the year this year! We recognized Judy Manns and our Merry Meal Volunteers.

A guest wrote a sweet thank you note after Piedmont Triad Apartment Association ECHO committee served dinner this week. Sharing so you know just how impactful your service is! “I had been at the hospital for over 15 hours. I was emotionally drained. I had planned to just go up to my room but a caring volunteer offered me to have dinner. She was so sweet how could I say no. I’m glad I stayed for dinner the food made by volunteers was delicious! The energy in the kitchen was perfect, not too much for my weary self. So much kindness was given to me and continues to be more than I could expect. Thank you for all you do. It really makes a huge difference for all that come in touch with the love you serve to myself and others.” ~Cheryl

Ho ho ho stopped yesterday to call evening Bingo? Our favorite Santa!

Woot! Meng Lo finished his treatments and is heading home in time for the holiday!
