House Heroes grows to over 85 people dedicated to supporting families in need of safe, affordable lodging while receiving medical treatment.

We are so excited to welcome over 20 people into our House Heroes monthly giving program. They put on their cape and tights to make sure our Family Assistance Fund has a consistent, reliable funding stream.

What’s the impact of their monthly support? Together, these new contributors will allow 35 families a month to stay at a reduced rate. Over the course of the year, they’re allowing 424 families to stay at a reduced rate.

In October, a guest from Bristol, TN was facing the very real possibility of staying in her car. These House Heroes made it possible for her to not worry about a place to stay while her daughter was having surgery.

The number of people that will feel the power of these House Heroes will continue to grow each year. Thank you!

A special note of appreciation to Rena and Mark Norcross, who issued a matching gift challenge. For each new House Hero, they donated $200 towards our meal program (up to $2,400).
