Two Family House family members are moving on

After eleven years and seven years, respectively, the Family House is saying farewell to two of its foundational staff members, Melissa Thompson and Tracy Geiger. They are leaving huge shoes to fill!

We invite you to leave any memories, stories, comments, and/or well wishes to Melissa and Tracy below.

Melissa Thompson

We will be saying farewell to Director of Operations  Melissa Thompson as she moves on to her next chapter as Client Executive Director and Operations Team at NonProfit Resources. We will be hosting an outdoor Open House reception for her on April 28, from 3-5pm so volunteers, and friends of the Family House can stop by to say goodbye to her. Donations of wish list items in her honor are appreciated!

Tracy Geiger

Our esteemed Development Director Tracy Geiger, whose legacy includes the beloved Men Who Cook event, will be retiring at the end of May! We can already picture the warm, sunny beach that she plans to move to in the future. We will be hosting a drive up Happy Hour Toast to Tracy’s Retirement here at the Family House on Tuesday, May 25 from 4:30-6pm.
