A spring partnership with Sawtooth School for Visual Arts is bringing laughter and creativity to the Family House on Monday evenings.
With the goal of achieving emotional and physical wellness through creativity, Sawtooth’s activities are filling the dining room with patients and caregivers who need a break from illness.
“The art journaling activity was so much fun! I was able to forget that I was sick for a little while. I haven’t been able to laugh as much as I did during that event in a long time. Thank you for everything!” ~Family House Guest
Sawtooth offers a different activity each week. So far they’ve offered:
- art journaling using mixed media techniques,
- paper marbling,
- monoprints with gelatin plates,and
- journaling with watercolors.
