Looking for a way to honor his late wife Gloria Griffin, beloved community volunteer and founding board member of the SECU Family House, Charles Griffin and his family conceived the “Memory Tree,” a unique plaque that honors or remembers a loved one.
Situated before a front yard tree as families and visitors drive up, these plaques honor or remember a loved one with class and dignity. Gloria, who was an executive board member and passionate advocate for the Family House project, was stricken with illness in the fall of 2011 and passed away shortly after the Family House opened. Charles knew how proud she would be to see the growth and success of the Family House, and the families it can help.
A $500 plaque will honor or remember your loved one and much more; all proceeds will contribute to the Family Assistance Fund, which helps bridge the gap between what it takes to operate a room, and what a family is able to pay. By contributing to this fund, you help families when they need it most.
