It’s hard to believe that our Sept. 13th House Warming Shower was three weeks ago!  Several hundred guests attended, many arriving with gifts of supplies, utensils and small appliances for the house. Attendees toured the kitchen, dining area, common areas and guest rooms, and viewed the wonderful arts works that were donated by regional artists.

Shortly after the event, SECU Family House began receiving its first guests.  Already, one of our guests has made use of the kitchenware you donated at the Shower by making bacon every morning–which makes the House smell great!  Meanwhile, this past Sunday, a wonderful volunteer used some donated supplies to make a pancake breakfast for the House.  Your donations from the House Warming Shower and your continued support will make this House more than just a place to stay.
