Tracy Geiger, a former corporate account manager with Graylyn Conference Center and Estate, has been named Development Director for the SECU Family House, effective July 28, 2014.  Tracy’s primary duty is to implement the Family House’s comprehensive development plan to support operational, capital, and special fund needs.

Tracy brings her experience and past training in the hospitality field, event planning, and corporate sales. “I had hoped after volunteering here at SECU Family House that I might one day have the opportunity of working here and putting my passion for making others feel welcomed and at home to good use. I look forward to accomplishing that and working with the wonderful staff and Board that truly makes this a special place!”

Tracy and her husband Richard moved to the area 4 years ago from Buffalo, NY.  Tracy is a graduate of Niagara University, with a BS in Hospitality Management, and while in Buffalo Tracy was on the Board of the local Welcome Wagon Int’l. and Williamsville School District PTSA, and worked part time at Crisis Services of Greater Buffalo, as event coordinator for the annual golf tournament and “Men who Cook” fundraising  event.

Kathy Carr, Executive Director, says “I look forward to having Tracy bring the Family House to the next level of awareness in the Winston-Salem community.”
